Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers, ensuring accurate inventory counts.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all 5S safety protocols.
- Follow all company policies and OSHA safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize warehouse flow and reduce downtime.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10 or equivalent) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and comprehend shipping labels.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
