Responsibilities
- Load and unload: Safely move materials from trailers, trucks, and railcars using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Verify and count incoming and outgoing stock to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment adhering to all OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production goals.
- Packaging: Properly package and label goods to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid forklift certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred) or be willing to obtain one.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate a busy warehouse floor.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and quality control.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as required.
