Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse safely.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation of stock movements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Assist in the packing and preparation of shipments for local and regional distribution.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory scanning systems.
