Responsibilities
- Pick, Pack, and Prepare: Accurately select and package items for shipment according to customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Use handheld scanners (RF guns) to scan barcodes and maintain accurate inventory counts.
- Material Handling: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and powered industrial trucks (certification provided).
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet company standards before shipping.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and keep the work area organized and clutter-free.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to meet daily productivity goals.
- Truck Loading: Load and unload freight trucks efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn scanning equipment quickly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order fulfillment.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; experience is not required.
