Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to OSHA standards.
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and delivery vehicles.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by physically counting stock and updating warehouse management systems.
- Inspect equipment for safety defects and perform routine maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhering to traffic rules in the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure production schedules are met and orders are processed accurately.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
