Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles in a timely manner.
- Inspect equipment for maintenance needs and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock accuracy using warehouse management systems.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and pallet organization.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience in warehousing, logistics, or related fields.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and material handling procedures.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems and documentation.
