As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse and loading docks. We pride ourselves on a collaborative work environment and offer competitive pay with opportunities for overtime and career growth.
Responsibilities
- Material Transport: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and organize inventory with precision and speed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Inventory Management: Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to verify stock counts and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical integrity and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse floor to facilitate efficient workflow and prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid, current forklift operator certification (OSHA 10 or equivalent) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift in a fast-paced environment.
- Documentation: Must pass a background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Communication: Basic ability to read, write, and understand English for safety instructions and logbook entries.
