Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movements using warehouse management software.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure operational safety and compliance.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to minimize risk and ensure a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and efficient flow of materials.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse layout to optimize storage space and accessibility.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Class A or Class B forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar material handling equipment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and understand shipping labels and inventory logs.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
