Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Conduct thorough pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery safety and functionality.
- Load and unload freight from trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols strictly.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of obstructions.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as requested.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must be presentable upon request).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
