Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Perform daily pre-shift and post-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate placement of stock in designated storage areas.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory management.
