Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe, working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure stock is organized according to safety standards.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company operational policies.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to streamline shipping and receiving processes.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including organizing pallets and debris removal.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA compliant) with a valid license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit to perform repetitive lifting, standing, and walking for extended shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime during peak seasons.
