As a Forklift Operator at Apex Logistics, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. We pride ourselves on our safe work environment and our commitment to employee growth. This is a full-time position with immediate availability for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and recording locations, quantities, and missing items.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including shrink-wrapping and palletizing as needed.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA) with a valid license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
