Responsibilities
- Operate Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Load & Unload: Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is properly secured, organized, and handled with care.
- Inventory Management: Conduct daily cycle counts, stock rotation, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe environment for all employees.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Documentation: Complete daily operational logs, delivery reports, and equipment maintenance checks accurately.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid OSHA forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is mandatory.
- Experience: Proven track record in warehouse logistics and material handling.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperatures.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and compliance with inventory standards.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Background Check: Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Availability: Must be available for rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
