Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Inventory Management: accurately stock and organize inventory while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of materials moved and handled as required by company procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable history of attendance and punctuality.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred.
