Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to safely load and unload materials from trailers and trucks.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and logging of all stock movements.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to streamline operations and meet daily production targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Assist in the organization of storage areas and the rotation of stock as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Certification is mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehousing or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime when required.
