Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, Pallet Jack) safely and efficiently to move products throughout the facility.
- Load and unload freight trucks and shipping containers, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict 5S safety standards.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Manage inventory accuracy by scanning barcodes and logging stock movements accurately.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies regarding hazardous materials and lifting procedures.
Qualifications
- Certification required: Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of previous forklift operation experience.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and navigate warehouse environments.
- Availability: Must be available for overtime shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Documentation: Must possess a valid Driver's License and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
