Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict accordance with OSHA standards.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and logging quantities accurately into the management system.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, reduce downtime, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation procedures.
Qualifications
- Current and valid OSHA forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory and tracking tasks.
