Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload materials from trucks and storage racks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the accurate counting and organization of inventory using warehouse management systems.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine daily inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of obstructions to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory for immediate hires.
