Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks as required.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and shelving stock correctly.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Clean work area and ensure the warehouse floor is free of hazards.
- Assist in organizing storage areas to maximize space efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and warehouse operations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
