Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials within the warehouse.
- Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload shipments from delivery trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory checks, stock replenishment, and maintaining accurate records of stock movements using warehouse management systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized and free of hazards to ensure smooth operational flow.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Certification: Previous forklift certification is preferred, but not required for entry-level applicants (training provided).
