Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (sit-down/stand-up) to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts as required
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and warehouse procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Assist in warehouse organization and maintain clean workspaces
- Train new hires on proper equipment operation and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years of industrial forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Preferred experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
