Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning and digital documentation.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks before operation.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is organized, clean, and free of safety hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping, receiving, and inventory targets.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (must be provided at interview).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not always required for immediate hires.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically fit to perform heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and navigating a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse software or inventory systems is a plus.
