Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and safety checks on all equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Load and unload shipments accurately, verifying quantities against shipping manifests and purchase orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards and warehouse safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as requested by management.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory status and potential hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required; we can train entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and paperwork.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (if outdoor duties are required).
