Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (Forklift, Reach Truck, Order Picker) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload shipments from trailers and trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Inspect equipment daily and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as required.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and warehouse regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- License: Valid Driver's License required for warehouse driving duties.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and understand shipping manifests.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
