Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement in designated storage areas.
- Perform routine pre-shift safety inspections on all equipment and report any defects immediately.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Document material transfers and inventory movements accurately.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating forklifts (preferred but not required for the right candidate).
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification within 30 days of hire.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret shipping documents.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Valid Driver's License (not required for warehouse duties, but preferred).
