Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Manually operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials in a busy warehouse environment.
- Overtime Opportunities: Consistently available to work overtime and weekend shifts to meet high-volume production demands.
- Inventory Accuracy: Verify and count stock items to ensure inventory accuracy and maintain proper stock levels.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Load Preparation: Properly package, label, and secure goods for shipment to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine visual inspections of forklifts to identify mechanical issues and report them for repair.
- Team Coordination: Communicate effectively with team leads and other staff to ensure seamless workflow operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Certification: Must possess a valid forklift license (CLP/CDL Class A/B is a plus).
- Experience Level: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Availability: Must be available for immediate start and willing to work flexible hours, including overtime.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and completing safety checks.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
