Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and machinery to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Organize and stack inventory in designated storage areas to maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Verify inventory counts and ensure accurate documentation of stock movements and shipments.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping processes.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks (preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate).
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow safety manuals and operational procedures.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
