Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Verify and count stock items, ensuring accuracy in inventory records and labeling.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and report any equipment malfunctions or hazards immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment in accordance with customer requirements.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- License Required: Valid and current forklift operator certification (Class I, II, or III) is mandatory.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or nights if required.
