Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
- Material Handling: Sort, stack, and organize products to ensure efficient workflow and prevent damage.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (able to provide copy).
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and equipment checks.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
