Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklift equipment for defects and report any mechanical issues immediately to management.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock is organized according to safety protocols.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Perform routine safety checks and clean up of the work area.
- Assist in the preparation of pallets for shipment.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA compliant) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Must be reliable and available for full-time shifts, including overtime when needed.
