Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to move, locate, and stack merchandise within the warehouse.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues and report any mechanical malfunctions immediately to maintenance.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory counts and proper handling of goods.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure accurate stock levels and order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class A or B) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
