Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials and pallets within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and maintenance checks on all forklift equipment.
- Accurately count, scan, and record inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Assist with warehouse organization and storage placement to maximize space efficiency.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and report any hazardous conditions immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (CPC or equivalent) is required.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory software is a plus.
- Must be reliable and punctual for weekend shifts.
