Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movements into the warehouse management system.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
- Keep work areas organized and clean to maintain a professional environment.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA) or ability to obtain certification within 30 days.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous experience operating heavy machinery or forklifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with barcode scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Valid driver’s license and passing background check.
