Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Assist in inventory control activities, including cycle counting and stock organization.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid forklift certification (Class 1/3) is preferred; training available for qualified candidates.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
