Responsibilities
- Safely Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and yard.
- Maintain Equipment Perform routine pre-shift inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Inventory Management Assist in stock verification, cycle counts, and ensuring accurate inventory placement.
- Adhere to Safety Protocols Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to ensure an accident-free workplace.
- Team Collaboration Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Certification Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Experience Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Physical Stamina Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Availability Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends or overtime if needed.
