Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure safety compliance and proper functioning.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Accurately stock and organize inventory, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
- Clean work areas and equipment to maintain high hygiene and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding inventory levels and operational needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hiring).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically fit to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
