Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse facility.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and proper stock placement using warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform routine pre-shift safety inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of shipments and orders.
- Handle hazardous materials safely when required, following all MSDS guidelines.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A or B) required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
