Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Verify inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and maintaining accurate logs.
- Ensure all safety protocols (OSHA standards) are strictly followed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Package and prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper handling and labeling.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (CFA) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work flexible night shift schedules (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and material handling equipment.
- Physically fit to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
