Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move palletized goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock movement and ensure proper organization of warehouse inventory.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and reporting any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently to meet daily shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class 1, 3) or willingness to obtain one through our training program.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety standards.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
