Responsibilities
- Safe Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and move materials.
- Inventory Accuracy: Utilize handheld scanners and WMS to accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Regulatory Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure efficient workflow.
- Load Management: Verify load contents, secure cargo properly, and inspect for damage during transit.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: Candidates with no experience are encouraged to apply; we provide paid training.
- Physical Capability: Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform heavy physical labor.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow complex instructions and maintain high accuracy in inventory counts.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for scanning and verification.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, reliable, and available for shift work including nights and weekends.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
