Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move pallets of merchandise throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct thorough daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Sort, stack, and organize inventory to ensure efficient warehouse flow and accurate stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Report any damaged goods, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and order picking.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
- Must be eligible to work legally in the United States.
