Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Inventory Management: Accurately stock, count, and organize inventory to maintain optimal warehouse conditions.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working order.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare pallets and shipments for outbound delivery in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and daily logs as required.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA/Pro-Lift) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand safety labels and inventory systems.
- Driver’s License: Valid state driver’s license is preferred.
