Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload materials.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Organize and stack inventory accurately within the warehouse storage system.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required by management.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulations.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
