Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Drive and operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, locate, and relocate materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Control: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Load & Unload: Efficiently load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring cargo security and proper documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production goals.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a tidy and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator license (OSHA 10 or 30 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Documentation: Ability to read and understand safety data sheets and shipping documents.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
- Availability: Must be available to work overtime and weekends as required.
