Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks) to move, locate, and relocate stock.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently, ensuring cargo is secured and protected.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders to meet daily production targets.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on all machinery.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and paperwork related to inventory and operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Philadelphia facility.
