Job Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring our supply chain operates smoothly. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and upholding the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials to and from designated areas.
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure all safety mechanisms are functioning correctly.
- Organize warehouse inventory, stack pallets securely, and maintain a tidy workspace to prevent accidents.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, including proper use of seatbelts and load limits.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock rotation to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members regarding workflow and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically fit to perform the job: ability to lift up to 50 lbs, reach, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Must be able to read and understand shipping labels and inventory tags.
