Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect and perform routine maintenance on forklifts and related equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and tagging items appropriately.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
- Secure cargo properly during transport to prevent damage or loss.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10 or equivalent) required.
- Previous experience operating a forklift (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, or Order Picker).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and material handling best practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory or picking orders.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
