Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper organization within the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately to management.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders efficiently to meet daily production targets and customer deadlines.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of inventory movements and operational reports as required.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class 1 or Class 4) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail to prevent errors.
- License: Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
