Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Control: Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders to meet daily production targets and shipping schedules.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by sweeping, organizing pallets, and removing trash.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of inventory movements and daily checks.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, or High-Reach) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse management.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
