Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight, materials, and products to and from storage and vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Organize and maintain warehouse shelves and storage areas to ensure efficient inventory flow.
- Prepare packages for shipping, including proper labeling, wrapping, and documentation.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Report damaged goods or unsafe conditions to management immediately.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and checking.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in varying temperature conditions (climate-controlled facility).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
